Dear Mom, You know how Aria really doesn't like writing assignments? She REALLY doesn't. She knows how to do them; she just stubbornly avoids writing whenever possible. Last week, she wanted to start writing letters to her toothfairy, Queen Etanellie (her toothfairy stays in her room as a figurine like in "Indian in the Cupboard") to see if she'd get a letter back even though her loose tooth didn't fall out yet. Naturally, not about to miss the opportunity of Aria having a desire to work on her writing skills, her toothfairy wrote back... Her handwriting is SOOOO tiny! They've been writing and drawing pictures back and forth each day/night; Aria looks forward to sitting down to sort out her letters and it makes me incredibly happy to see her desire to write progress in such a positive way. Tonight, her toothfairy tried her hand at painting a teensy tiny picture... just slightly larger than the size of a quarter...with a little note on the back. I can hardly wait for her to discover it in the morning. 😊💜 It made me think of you and all of the ways you'd make even the littlest of things so very extra special and memorable. I miss you even though you're still everywhere. Love always, "Pookie"
